Darling husband was hit by a stomach flu Sunday morning, which I did not take very seriously, considering Saturday was St. Patrick's Day, and he enjoyed quite a bit of the brew. I changed my tune when I crawled home from work Monday morning (do you know what it's like to have to get sub coverage mid-day?) and spent most of Monday afternoon and evening reliving some not so pleasant college memories on the cold tile of the bathroom floor.
Tuesday was a blur.
And now I'm back at work. Whheeeeeeee!
I just want to send a shout out to those ladies who puked their way through their pregnancies. Way to go, ladies! I didn't puke once this time around, but I made up for it a little bit on Monday.
Now I have a dilemma - feel free to weigh in on it - - I've been without caffeine for 48 hours, and am suffering from the dreaded caffeine headache. Do I take this as a sign that I should GIVE IT UP? Or should I high-tail it to Starbucks at 3pm for a LATTE?
Please advise.

Coffee, yes. In moderation. Diet Cokes out the proverbial wahoo? Methinks that a body should be limited to, say, three a day. Plus coffee supposedly has actual nutitional benefits, in modest doses.
Get thee to Starbucks, buy a latte, and get one for me too. Grande skim with vanilla. Thanks.
While you're there I'll take an iced raspberry qaud espresso with three splendas and some room for milk.
Clearly I'm not one to lecture ANYONE about giving up coffee.
High Hence! To a Starbucks Near You! Really, a latte only has one shot of espresso, and a whole serving of milk. Not only will you be awake, you will have strong bones! And no PMS!
I am a Starbucks-aholic. I say get a move on!!!
Try a tiny bit of dark chocolate in lieu of the coffee.....Just as an experiment......I find that I get the same amount of kick as a small cupa.... plus the sugar rush is a bonus..!!
